Every ratchet in the line uses the same 72-tooth head, so the feel is identical whether you're on a 1/4" or a 3/8".
40 sockets, metric and imperial, in a case that closes when it's full.
View on Amazon ↗Brakken started as a two-bay motorcycle shop outside Taichung. The ratchets we bought kept rounding off — not the sockets, the mechanism inside the head. Rebuild after rebuild, always the same 36-tooth pawl.
So we had a set cut to our own drawing: 72 teeth, a heavier pawl spring, and a head machined from one billet instead of pressed together. Mechanics who came in for a service started asking where to buy them.
We still run the shop. Every tool in this range gets used there before it ships.
Drop-forged, heat-treated and finished within 30 km of the shop. We own the drawings, so when a mechanic tells us something is wrong, we can actually change it.
Everything here is stamped on the tool or printed in the manual. We put it on the website too, because comparing two ratchets shouldn't require owning both.
Send us a photo of the failed tool and a shipping address. We send a replacement. We don't ask where you bought it or when — if it carries our name and it broke, that's on us.
Yes. The pawl, spring and circlip are sold as a kit, and the head opens with a standard snap-ring plier. A rebuild takes about ten minutes.
No. These are hand sockets — chrome finish, not black oxide. Using them on an impact wrench will crack them, and that isn't covered.
We supply independent tool retailers, motorcycle shops and distributors in North America, Japan and the EU. Tell us your market and volume and we'll come back with terms and lead times.
Trade enquiries answered within two business days. Warranty claims and consumer support go through the Amazon message centre so your order details arrive with the request.
